Open Days At Greatworth Hall Are Perfect Opportunities For The Public To Engage With Farming - 24th March Is The Next One!
Throughout the academic year we offer open days on the farm, from our Harvest themed day usually in early Autumn, to our Lambing themed open day in the spring (all dependent on when the rams go in).
Every open day we hold is free to attend, although we do suggested a small donation. There are activities all around the farm to get stuck in with, from handling lambs to welly wanging, craft activities to farm demonstrations, plus much more. Tea and coffee are available to all visitors as well as some homemade cakes, so be sure to bring a bit of spare change!
Our next open day is going to be Lambing themed on the 24th of March; come and see how we look after the sheep and lambs at this time of year, take a look at the new born chicks, and hold a lamb! Don't forget to bring a few pennies for some refreshments. We look forward to seeing you there!
We do ask all visitors to sign a declaration to say that they understand their safety is their own responsibility on the farm. We make it as safe as possible but cannot be held accountable if you do not adhere to the guidance given.
