Open Days!

Our next open day will be on 11th October 2025

The first in the year is our ever popular lambing themed open day where we open the gates for you to come and watch the ewes become mothers. Perfect for all the family, we invite you to come and hold a lamb and learn about the lambing process, including what we feed the sheep and how we care for them. You can also enjoy a warm cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake while you are here.

The other open day within the year is our harvest themed day. This is usually held in early autumn and offers the sights and sounds of harvest. Come and get close up to our farm machinery and see the grain that’s been harvested before it becomes your bread or cereal.

Health and Safety Guidelines for are Farm Open Days are as follows:

  • Take care when walking around, look where you are going so as not to bump into things and be aware of the uneven floor.

  • Children in your party are your responsibility, you should be with them at all times on the farm.

  • Listen to guidance given by our volunteers on how to do each activity safely

  • Take care when climbing onto and off of machinery - children MUST be supervised

  • We advise pregnant ladies do not go near to the livestock.

  • The tractor and trailer ride is at your own risk, we do everything we can to keep you safe but you are riding at your own risk.

  • Only go into areas clearly marked out for the day. You are not permitted to go into cordoned off areas or parts of the farm that are not clearly set out with activities for the day.

Please check this page before each open day to see if any of our guidance has been updated/amended. Please also book online and sign in so that we can gauge how many people to expect and then work the day to keep everyone safe.

Although the farm will not be working during an open day, it is still an active site and therefore its important that you understand that safety is your own responsibility on the farm. We make it as safe as possible but cannot be held accountable if you do not adhere to the guidance given.

We also love to count the numbers at the end of each open day and are constantly overwhelmed by the amount of people who come and get a glimpse of what farm life is like as well as support what we are doing.
